Get away from the cruise ship crowds and take an independent tour in small groups on the undiscovered Western Caribbean island of Roatan.

Roatan Shore Tours is a small and independent tour operator in Roatan in the Bay Islands of Honduras and only offers custom made shore excursions, tours and  activities in small groups. Our tours are operated by reliable and well established companies.

If you can't find an activity that suits you on this website let us know. We are happy to work out a customized Roatan Excursion for you. Just let us know what you would like to do.

If you book an excursion with us the tour operator will either pick you up outside the Roatan cruise ship dock or at your hotel if you are staying on Roatan. Transport is included in all tours.

Roatan is still a bit rustic and not your typical cruise ship port where you find big shopping districts and attractions within walking distance. Although there is shopping near the cruise ship dock the real attraction of Roatan island is its lush vegetation, stunning beaches, spectacular views and the pristine coral reef all of which is best explored on an independent tour.

Our goal is to offer you the best shore excursion possible and to have happy and satisfied customers only.

Customer comment:

We have returned to Canada having completed our cruise in the Caribbean, and I can tell you that the day we spent on Roatan with the Subway Watersports group was without question the high point of our trip.  Special thanks to Dennis and Vanessa for all of their assistance, teaching and touring.  Thank you for helping to arrange such a custom and personal outing for us, I can't describe how nice it was to be away from the large cruise-ship excursion crowds.  We loved visiting Roatan, you are lucky to live in such a beautiful place, and we hope we can return there for a vacation in the future.  I will certainly recommend Subway to anyone whom I encounter who is considering a trip to Roatan.  Thank you again.
Best Regards,
Doug

Note from the Roatan Marine Park:

We support the Roatan Marine ParkDear visitor please help us protect Roatan's most valuable recourse the coral reef. When snorkeling or scuba diving please do not touch or step on the coral as this will kill it and do not remove anything other than trash.
Do not buy shells and pieces of coral such as sea fans or jewelry made from black coral etc. Even though these items are widely available from street vendors it is illegal.
Locals will harvest anything just to make a little cash today disregarding the sustainability of their livelihood for the future.
