This is a tour of Roatan island with the photographer in mind. You will explore the island’s natural beauty, often off the beaten path, to capture the essence of this Caribbean treasure.
Whether you are a beginner or a photo pro, your tour guide will take you to some of the most photogenic and scenic destinations, giving you the chance to leave with some timeless images of Roatan.
The tour can be very flexible, whether you want to include snorkeling/diving to see world class reefs, fly over the island in a specially designed plane for photography, or remain on land and see the diversity of its landscape and wildlife.
The tour is conducted by an experienced photographer, Marc, who is available to assist you in getting that perfect shot. The groups are kept very small, so that personal attention is assured.
Marc is a scuba dive Instructor who has lived on Roatan for four years, and is also a photo and video instructor. His educational background is in Art and Photography and he is therefore well equipped to share his experience, and pass on some helpful tips.

Photo tour details:
The tour in an air-conditioned 4 x 4 lasts 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Besides all the sights you have the chance to visit a variety of island restaurants to satisfy your refreshment needs. (Food and drinks are not included in the tour price)

Photographer’s tour:
From the pick-up at the cruise ship dock or hotel, we travel east to the more remote end of the island where we will find traditional homes, deserted beaches and a tireless variety of views. From there we will travel north though the rainforests where you will be able to capture spectacular views of both the north and south side of the island, and find many varieties of local indigenous wild life. Your tour will continue to the west end of the island a great place to capture shots of the perfect Caribbean beach. The coastal road back to the ship will give the opportunity to see local unspoiled island life. One passenger $ 90, 2 to 4 passengers $ 70 per person.
Photographer’s tour with 30 minute flight:
Incorporated into the photographer’s tour is your chance to take a unique 30 min air tour experience in an open cockpit plane, giving you the chance to take some shots of the spectacular reef from above and capturing the breathtaking topography of the island. Ask for price
Photographer’s tour including snorkel:
This tour gives everyone the chance to enjoy everything that Roatan has to offer above and below water, as a guided snorkel over pristine reef is incorporated into the photographer’s tour. One passenger $ 110, 2 to 4 passengers $ 90 per person. Snorkel gear rental $ 7 per set.
Photographer’s tour with one scuba dive:
This tour enables the certified diver the chance to dive the largest reef in the northern hemisphere. The waters of Roatan offer the chance to photo large marine life such as spotted eagle rays, green moray eels, large yellow finned groupers, as well as the micro world of sea slugs and peterson cleaning shrimp. In this tour you will also enjoy highlights of the photographer’s tour. One passenger $ 125, 2 to 4 passengers $ 105 per person. Dive gear rental $ 20 per full set.
To secure your reservation we require a $ 20 non refundable deposit per person. When paying the deposit please email us with the ship name and date.
The difference is due at the beginning of the tour in cash. We refund the deposit only if the ship does not make port or if we have to cancel the tour.
